Meet our Senior Leadership Team
Paul Beevor
I am a proud father of two boys and am lucky enough to have worked in primary education for a number of years. Happily, I am fortunate to work with a group of fantastic children, wonderful staff and supportive governors who together make our school a welcoming and special place to learn. Although our school has grown to be a two-form school, it retains the small school feel which ensures it is a nurturing environment for children to thrive as people and as learners. I am a specialist leader in education in mathematics and am a Headteacher Advocate for Mathematics with South Yorkshire Maths Hub. I love working at our school and hope to meet you soon.

I have been teaching in Rotherham schools for the last sixteen years which has included a one year secondment working for the authorities Learning Support Service. I have been Deputy Headteacher for two and a half years and I am a specialist leader of education for Special Educational Needs. I have two young children myself and I love my role within school, working with all the children and staff our school.
Emma Wilby
I’ve now been teaching for almost 20 years – with this being my 8th year at Wath C of E. I currently teach Year 5 (having previously taught Year 6 for a number of years) and am responsible for English throughout school. My primary interest in literacy is helping children develop a love of reading through engagement in exciting class texts and recommending my favourite books. We have a fantastic team here along with friendly and motivated children and I feel privileged to be part of such a wonderful school.

As a Mum to two little boys and a teacher for 11 years I am very lucky to experience the wonder and awe of many little people on a daily basis.
This year I am excited to be part of a Maths Mastery Specialist Teachers programme which will provide many opportunities to collaborate with other professionals and develop subject knowledge. I am lucky to work in a setting where children and adults thrive on challenge and I look forward to the daily successes that we experience together!

I have worked at Wath C of E since 2013 and I have the privilege of working alongside a fantastic staff team and amazing children every day. Throughout my time at school, I have worked in Foundation Stage 1 & 2 and am currently a year 1 teacher. I love working with some of the youngest children in school and seeing their happy smiley faces each day! I have a real passion for Phonics and have loved working with a team to develop this in our school.
Jenny Horner
I have been a teacher for over 20 years and have been here at Wath C of E for 9 years. I feel extremely proud to be part of this very special school community of children, staff and parents. I love my role as Foundation Leader, working with a wonderful team of people who are dedicated to providing the children with the very best start to their school life. The children continue to amaze me with their enthusiasm and excitement to learn and it is wonderful to share their achievements every day.
