YEAR 2G

We have many exciting learning opportunities planned in Year 2 and we are so looking forward to being inquisitive learners with you. We will be learning from different questions, maybe you will have your own questions for us to investigate? Our first question in the Autumn term is ‘How far can you go?’ We will be learning about the human body and considering what an amazing thing it is. We will be exploring how to push and challenge ourselves and build up the resilience to becoming expert problem solvers! In addition to looking at ourselves we will explore people from the past and discover when, where and how Florence Nightingale challenged herself and learn about the impact of this many years later.

Hello everyone, My name is Miss Goddard. I have had the pleasure to be a teacher at Wath C of E for the past 5 years. I have experience in teaching Year 1 and Year 2. It is always fun and exciting to teach the children every year. I’m very passionate about my job, teaching and learning about each individual child is very important to me. We always have great fun making memories together.
My interests outside of work involve spending time with family, especially with my nieces and nephews as I have a strong bond with them all. I enjoy going on adventures, long walks and finding new places to visit. I am also a big animal lover having rescued and owned many different animals. I love reading when I have the time. As JK Rowling would say ‘I do believe something magical can happen when you read a good book’.

Wath CofE on re-gaining their Platinum Award!

It is clear to see from the application that they are an active school with a clear plan in place to make sure children meet their daily active minutes. They have also undertaken pupil voice  to help shape their school sport offer and to make sure the school engages a wide range of children in their break times and clubs taking place prior, during and after school. As well as embedded physical literacy and "sporting excellence" throughout their school.

Well done Team CofE!
