Y6 PE Rugby
Last night ten Y6 children participated in the Matt Burrow's tag rugby competition. This is something that is always close to our school's heart with the Burrows family being a big part of our school community. The children have worked really hard to perfect their rugby skills in PE, and last night it really showed with them beating 4 teams convincingly and only losing one match to the eventual winners 1-0. Y4 Gymnastics
Gymnastics update! All the children have been amazing during these PE lessons. In their small groups they had to put together a routine. It had to include three levels of height and movement within their sequence of extension and control. As you can see by the pictures they were all fully committed! Another great example of teamwork, communication and super effort!

F2 Maths
We have been focussing on the numbers 1-5 so far in our maths learning. Last week we did a deep dive into number 5 and used the unfix, counting bears and blocks to explain how 5 can be made in lots of different ways.

During Antibullying week we have created a kindness agreement for our class. we have thought about our ‘Power for Good’ and considered when and how we can show our power to make others feel happy and safe.

Year 1 D and T
Today we began our new Design & Technology topic, where the children will be creating their own pull-along toys. To start the project, we focused on developing our scissor skills and carefully cutting out the wheels. The children showed great concentration and perseverance throughout the session. We are really excited to continue building our toys in the next lesson. Well done, Year 1A!

KS2 Christian Vision Assembly
We had a super KS2 Christian Vision cards assembly this morning with different aspects of the vision showcased. One part from Year 4 was someone who had completed some further Egyptian learning at home to let their light shine. It was lovely to see how many children were nominated for improving their writing skills.

Girls' Football

F1 Understanding the World and Literacy

Harvest Services 2025

It's been the last day of a long half term where Y6R have absolutely worked their socks off. As a reward, we collapsed the timetable and had a creative day starting our art project on shadow puppets.
