A message from the Chair of Governors
Dear Parents and Carers,

Outstanding schools aim to be places where children not only learn but where they can feel safe, be valued as individuals, treated equally, and achieve their full potential. This is certainly true of Wath C of E School and, as the name implies, it is a school in which everything springs from a Christian understanding of the world, community, and the value and dignity of each individual. It is founded on clear Christian principles, with strong links to All Saints Parish Church. The school has a reputation for a friendly atmosphere and for valuing and caring for each individual in its community:- pupils, staff, governors, parents and carers.

We have a hardworking staff here dedicated to enabling outstanding educational attainment and the all round development of each child. The Governors are fully committed to supporting this work and to the management of the school for future success. What has been developed over the years is a good, purposeful and caring community school which enables all its children to aim higher and shine brighter.
The governing body works in a holistic and inclusive manner just like the school with all sub-committee matters, like finance, curriculum and premises, discussed in depth during the full governor meeting which every member attends.
On behalf of the Governors
Yours sincerely
Chris Skelton
Chair of Governors
